Based on what criteria should you buy a Tamagotchi?
There are a few things to look out for. The first is the battery cover, which should be screwed on tightly and not wobbly or loose. If it’s loose then you can’t replace the batteries without opening up your Tamagotchi. Another thing to watch out for is that there shouldn’t be any cracks in the screen of your Tamagotchi (although this doesn’t affect its ability to work). Finally, make sure that when you turn it on all four buttons light up – if they don’t then something has gone wrong with either your unit or its power supply.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of a Tamagotchi?
Advantages
Tamagotchi’s are very portable. You can take them anywhere you go, and they’re fun to play with when your bored. They also teach responsibility as well as other things like math skills (addition/subtraction) and spelling.
Disadvantages
The biggest disadvantage of a Tamagotchi is that it will die if you don’t take care of it. It’s not like your real pet, which can survive on its own for days or weeks without any attention from you. If the battery dies in a Tamagotchi, then there’s no way to revive it and bring him back to life (unless he was just sleeping). You’ll have to start over with another one.
