What are pedestal fans and what are their advantages?
Pedestal fans have the main feature of having the fan head mounted to a base that is placed on the floor. This base raises the fan so that it can circulate the air from a medium height and almost all models have a rotating or oscillating head. It is also one of the most popular models.
The oscillation of the head allows the airflow to be directed to various points in a given space as long as they are at the angle of rotation. This does not improve the air circulation within a room, but it does produce a cooling sensation directly on the person on whom the airflow is blowing as it evaporates perspiration and humidity, and therefore partly displaces the heat generated.

You can consider or take as a reference point that a medium power fan can range from 45W to 60W, beyond that, we are talking about high power fans, so this can be a very useful parameter.
