What is a Huawei Tablet?
A Huawei tablet offers you a variety of possibilities, which we have summarised for you in the list below:
- Watch movies
- Reading books
- Visit social networks
- Make video calls to friends
- Playing mini-games
As you can see, there is a wide range of possibilities for how a Huawei tablet could improve your everyday life. How and whether it can do this, we will clarify together in the next paragraph.
Is a Huawei tablet suitable for you?
To do this, you can perhaps ask a relative who already owns a tablet, preferably from the manufacturer Huawei. They might be able to tell you from their personal point of view what they like and what they don’t like.
You could also look at various opinions on the internet. Of course, these should ideally be neutral.
Please note that it is a subjective perception of the video creator and you should form your own opinion.
What alternatives are there to a Huawei tablet?
Regarding the operating system, there is Android. This is what your new Huawei tablet will run on. Another operating system, and perhaps the largest on the market, is IOS.
This is the operating system of Apple and its iPads. This tablet is a viable alternative to a Huawei tablet.
Typically, however, Apple’s iPad is a rather more expensive alternative and can quickly cost three to four times the price of a Huawei tablet. A cheaper alternative would be the Fire 7 from Amazon.
Did you know: The iPad and iOS against the MediaPad and Android is the battle between two operating systems and devices that started several years ago!
As a general direction, you can remember that a Huawei tablet ranges from lower to upper mid-range in terms of performance and technology.
You should decide for yourself how often you use your tablet and how much money you want to spend on it. Based on this, you should then make your decision.
Decision: What types of Huawei tablets are there and which one is right for you?
Among the different types of Huawei tablets, there are two models that stand out:
- Media M5 Tablet
- Media T5 Tablet
In the following paragraph, we will tell you about the advantages and disadvantages of these models.
What is a Media M5 tablet and what are its advantages and disadvantages?
The Huawei MediaPad M5 from Huawei is one of the manufacturer’s newest tablets and has recently appeared on the market. You should usually find this device for sale in most electronics shops.
Weighing just under 500 grams and with a user interface of 76%, this is an absolutely top device. Moreover, it is made of high-quality metal and not simple plastic.
With an LCD IPS display and a screen diagonal of 10.8 inches, it is also completely convincing in this area. Furthermore, this tablet from Huawei has a RAM of four GB and a normal storage capacity of 32 GB.
Another innovative and interesting feature is certainly the fingerprint sensor on the front.
What is a Media T5 tablet and what are its advantages and disadvantages?
The Huawei MediaPad T5 is another tablet device from the manufacturer and brand Huawei. This device comes with a great price-performance ratio and is particularly convincing due to its design and its camera.
The MediaPad T5 has been on sale in Germany since August 2018 and weighs 460 grams, which makes it slightly lighter than the M5 with just under 500 grams.
For holding it in the hand for a long time, this difference can be quite decisive and play a significant difference in satisfaction.
The colours of this device are not in a particularly wide range, namely only the colour “Black” is available. The screen diagonal is also a little smaller than that of the M5. The T5 has a screen diagonal of 10.1 inches.
Buying criteria: Use these factors to compare and evaluate Huawei tablets
In the following, we will show you which aspects you can use to decide between the many possible Huawei tablets.
The criteria you can use to make your purchase decision are the following:
- Storage capacity
- Network connection (Wifi vs LTE)
- Display size
As with many technical devices, the capacity of the internal memory of the Huawei tablet plays a decisive role when it comes to choosing the best tablet for you.
Although so-called “cloud storage” has become increasingly popular in recent years, the internal memory is one of the most important criteria when buying such tablets.
Storage capacity is almost always given in GB and you can usually find it in the product information!
You can usually find the storage capacity in the product information or ask the retailer directly for information.
Network connection (Wifi vs. LTE)
The network connection is a crucial point that most buyers don’t give the attention it deserves. This is whether or not your new Huawei tablet is able to accept a SIM card.
In this context, we often talk about “network-capable” devices. With these, you are able to access the mobile network and use it to make phone calls, write text messages or use the mobile network for internet activities.
Resolution and speed are also important factors when buying your new Huawei tablet.
Resolution” refers to how many pixels your new tablet can display an image.
This is often expressed in formats such as 2560×1600 pixels. This example refers to the image quality of the Huawei MediaPad M5.
You should make sure that your new tablet is capable of displaying videos and images in high definition. Nowadays, most devices should be able to do this without any problems.
The screen or display size is the next most important factor when buying a new Huawei tablet.
It is important to distinguish that “display size” only refers to the diagonal length of the display, not the device itself. This often leads to confusion as to which length is meant.
Nowadays, technology is already so advanced that the largest surface of the device is actually the screen. In the case of the Huawei MediaPad, 76% of the device is actually the screen.
Another important and interesting point is that the size of the display indicates how heavy the device will be in the end.
Larger devices tend to be heavier, which can make them more difficult to use and should be taken into account when buying a device.
