How we pick our products
The China Cup is a competition between the national teams of Hong Kong, Macau and Chinese Taipei. It was first held in 2009 with four editions being played since then.
The China Cup is a round-robin tournament where every team plays each other once. Three points are awarded for a win, one point for a draw and none for defeat. Teams will be ranked according to the number of points they accumulate over all matches played in the group stage (three games). If two or more teams finish on equal points at the end of this first phase, their ranking will be determined by goal difference then goals scored. In case it’s still tied after that, lots will decide who goes through.

China Cup: Frequently asked questions
What types of China Cup are there and what determines a good product?
A good China Cup is one that has a high level of competition, and where the teams are evenly matched. This year’s tournament will be very competitive with four strong teams from Asia competing for the title. The quality of football on display in this tournament should make it an exciting event to watch.
Who should use a China Cup?
Based on what criteria should you buy a China Cup?
The first thing to look out for is the material. Some of them are made from plastic, some from glass and others even have a wooden base. If you want something that will last longer, then it’s better to go with one made of metal or wood as they tend not to break easily like those made of plastic or glass do. Another important factor is its size; if you don’t know how big your coffee cup should be, just check on what other people use in their homes so that you can get an idea about which size fits best into your kitchen space and also matches well with the rest of your dining set-up. Lastly but definitely not least is price – make sure that whatever China Cup you choose has good value for money because this way, it won’t hurt too much when it breaks down after only several months (or weeks) since purchasing.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of a China Cup?
The China Cup is a great opportunity to play against some of the best teams in Asia. It’s also an important chance for us to get ready for our next FIFA World Cup qualifying match, which will be played on March 26 at home against Qatar.
The main disadvantage is that the tournament has to be played in China. It’s a long way from Europe and it means teams have to travel for two weeks, which can affect their performance. Also there are only four games so you don’t get much time on court as an individual or as part of your team. You might play one game every other day, whereas at a normal event like this you would expect three matches per week over six days – more than double what we will see here next month. So I think the quality of tennis won’t be quite as high because players aren’t going to feel 100% physically after playing just twice in five days against top-quality opponents who they may not know very well either (because many haven’t played each other before). That said, if someone wins all four singles rubbers then they deserve great credit.
